John Casmon is Live on Elevate!
It was great have John Casmon on the show for a second time! John is a real estate entrepreneur, who has partnered with busy professionals to invest in close to $90 million worth of apartments. John hosts the Target Market Insights podcast where he covers multifamily and marketing insights. He is the co-creator of the Midwest Real Estate Networking Summit, a no pitch event to connect like-minded Investors. With a background in marketing, he has overseen campaigns for General Motors, Nike and Coors Light amongst others. John was even recognized by Black Enterprise Magazine as one of the “Top Executives in Advertising and Marketing”.
The theme of Tyler and John’s discussion centered on the driving force of transformation in business and life. John shared the learning experiences that took place from his first hustle as a kid selling candy, video games and gloves at a premium to his current role as an entrepreneur, where he impacts the lives of his residents and creates generational wealth.
“With what we’re doing in real estate, we can impact the residents’ lives, we can create generational wealth, and this something I don’t have to worry about someone firing me. I don’t have worry about falling out of political alignment with someone and getting shipped off to some apartment. For me, that’s huge. That’s transformation.”
They also delved into the thought process of multifamily investors, with John sharing how to fall in love with the mundane, categorize non-negotiable tasks and stay grounded in the face of uncertainty.
