Andre Reed is Live on Elevate!
Tyler visited The Best Ever Conference in Keystone, Colorado, where he talked with keynote speaker and NFL Hall of Famer Andre Reed. Reed played in the NFL for 16 seasons, 15 with the Buffalo Bills (1985–1999) and one with the Washington Redskins (2000). Reed is currently a Boys & Girls Club of America Ambassador.
During this live recording, Tyler and Andre talked about the heart of a champion and Kobe Bryant's Mamba Mentality as it relates to performing at the highest level and inspiring others to be great. Andre shared how the Mamba mentality helped him become greater:
“When I was in high school, you think you're better than everybody and people are telling you that. But then you get older and you've got to step your game up. There's people just as good as you and working just as hard, if not harder than you. So you got to kind of flip your script and outwork somebody and out-think them. And I knew I had to do that. I had people around me that gave me that kind of mental attitude to the Mamba thing, the mamba mentality. To go to the extra yard, to do this, to do that. Maybe you didn't like it, but in the long run, regardless if I became a professional athlete or not, I knew whatever I did in life, that was going to be a very important thing for me.”
Tyler continued the heart of a champion discussion with Evan Holladay, real estate developer, investor and podcast host; and Trevor McGregor, world class performance coach and real estate investor. They also discussed battling indecisiveness, tips for building relationships in the real estate industry and the benefits of masterminds.
Tyler was also briefly joined by John Casmon, a multifamily real estate investor from Cincinnati. John shared his experience of departing corporate America and using real estate as a vehicle to provide for his family. Stay tuned for a full episode with John!
