In this episode, Tyler and Leesa’s discussion focused on Leesa’s mission of inspiring people to think differently about the world to make a difference, as well as how to use business as a force for good. The following excerpt from Leesa describes how she says “no” to business opportunities that are not connected to a greater purpose:

“At this point in my life, I've cemented in my value system, my integrity. I only want to make a difference. And I don't approach business opportunities the way that I may have in the past. Like, ‘That's a great idea. I can make a lot of money from that.’ I don't approach that anymore. How can I make a difference and how is this going to impact the world positively? That is my guiding force.”

Leesa also shared the purpose behind her book Alphabet for Humanity, a children's book featuring 26 empowering alphabet words designed to nurture emotional intelligence habitually. Other topics included journaling, traveling benefits, investing in yourself, failures and more.
