Andrew Holden is Live on Elevate!
We were pleased to welcome Andrew Holden to the show! Andrew is a CCIM and the Market President of Park National Bank. He’s previously held positions at Commonwealth Bank and Trust Company, Old National Bank and Fifth Third Bank, and has served as the CCIM Chapter President for the Kentucky Chapter and the Chair of the Kentucky Commercial Real Estate Conference. He’s also a professional speaker.
The theme of Tyler and Andrew’s discussion was the idea of responding, not reacting, to what happens to us. Andrew also shared the four factors that’s led him to success: starting each day from a point of gratitude, being organized, setting detailed goals and being a lifelong learner.
What I've found is the most impactful is you have to start from a point of gratitude. We're blessed that we live in the greatest country in the world with all the freedoms that we have and know we really have to not lose sight of that. And another mentor years ago told me, “We can't impact what happens to us, but we can impact how we respond. And so if we start every day from a point of gratitude, thankful for our family, thankful for our work, thankful for our friends, thank you for our colleagues.
Other topics included getting into commercial real estate without a business background, prioritizing sleep, exit strategy, celebrating success, mentors, focusing on books and much more.
