Tyler Weighs in on Coronavirus Impact on Commercial Real Estate

Louisville Business First reached out to Tyler, and other Louisville-area commercial real estate professionals, to ask how the coronavirus has impacted their business. An excerpt from the article is below.

"Our firm had one particular investment sale deal we had been putting together for quite some time that finally came together after a significant amount of negotiation; the pandemic began rising to the surface in the U.S, late last week and now this particular buyer wants to see how this impacts the overall economy, the occupants of the deal, etc. prior to executing a purchase and sale agreement, so as of now the future of this deal is uncertain,” Chesser said. “We've also been impacted in another deal as a buyer has been quarantined in China for the past several months and coordinating logistics for a Chinese notary for a remote closing has been burdensome (after realizing the buyer would not be permitted to return back to the U.S. for a significant time period).”
