Paul Moore is Live on Elevate!
It was great to welcome Paul Moore to the show! After graduating with an engineering degree and an MBA from Ohio State, Paul Moore started on the management development track at Ford Motor Company in Detroit. He later departed to start a staffing company with a partner, which they sold for $2.9 million. Paul later entered the real estate sector, where he completed 85 real estate investments and exits, managed dozens of rental properties, developed a subdivision, and started two online real estate marketing firms.Three successful developments led him into the multifamily investment arena. Paul is also an author, co-host of a wealth-building podcast called How to Lose Money, and the managing director of two commercial real estate funds at Wellings Capital.
In this episode, Tyler and Paul’s discussion focused on the ups and downs of the entrepreneurial journey, with Paul sharing his experience of starting out as “shiny object chaser” to becoming a very successful businessman. Paul also discussed Dr. Lance Wallnau’s principle of convergence, and provided great advice for both serial entrepreneurs and those suffering from analysis paralysis.
“If I could have possibly known about the power of commercial real estate investing when I was in my early twenties, let's say, and stayed on that course for you know, let's say the last 35 years and hopefully the next 40 years in the future. You know, I think I'd be way ahead of where I am now.”
Paul also shared his mission of raising awareness and $1 billion to fight human trafficking. He discussed the Freedom Place project, the first-ever billion-dollar office tower to be built with the goal of profits going towards fighting human trafficking. He also encouraged people to watch Exodus Cry’s Nefarious documentary, which also supports the cause. Both are linked below.
Other topics included the mindset of the world’s most successful people, batching emails, meditative mournings, surrounding yourself with those who disagree, streamlining processes, cut-off time and more. The wisdom Paul has gained from his vast business and entrepreneurial experiences will resonate with Elevate Nation!
